SciVal online

SciVal is a web-based publication analysis tool, which TUM has licensed in 2020. Based on the Scopus database it provides in-depth information on international publication and citation activities. The Scopus database covers more than 48 million records of journal articles, conference papers, trade publications and books of all publishers with a focus on: life sciences, social sciences, physical sciences and health sciences. SciVal aims to comparing the publication activities of universities, scientific groups, and single researchers by capturing the respective contribution to literature and industries on an international level. The SciVal tool provides therefore different measures on publications, citations and online access of the publications, which are configurable by the individual SciVal user.
